The third annual audit review has been held in Tromso (Norway) on March 5th, 2020 and concluded to be a complete success.

The audit has been performed by KSAT in its capacity as the independent consortium member in charge of checking, enforcing and auditing the correctness of the data and meta-data management in the Service.

It is recalled that the 2nd audit review report stated that the DMS (Data management System) performance was well within the ESA requirements. During 2019, the EODAS team has worked to improve the service even beyond the ESA requirement. The major goal of this 3rd review was therefore to assess the evolution/improvements relative to what was done at the previous audit review in all three aspects:  1. Database Improvement (upgrade, availability and reliability); 2. Security and Network evolution; 3. Integrity between Main & Backup centers.

The 3rd audit report has been provided to ESA and its main conclusion is provided below:

“Performance and quality gains documented in the review proves that all EODAS members aim to improve, and that they have proven the ability to evolve in order to provide a higher service quality.”
